Teresa KABAN – Piano,
received her musical training at the Music Academy in Cracow, where she studied piano with Professor. L. Stefanski.  Whilst still a student she took  part in Master Classes  with Professors W.Mierzanow, R. Bakst and Stefan Askenase.She has performed with success in more than 40 countries all over the world; in Europe, North America and the Middle and Far East, playing in prestigious theatres and concert halls.  As soloist and as a duo with Henryk Blazej (flute) she has taken part in many European international music festivals.
Teresa is frequently invited to give lectures and Master Classes, at Universities and Conservatoires  in London; for piano teachers (EPTA in London, in Los Angeles, Catania, Slovakia,  and at the University in Osnabruck - as well as acting as juror of international piano competitions.  She has performed as soloist with numerous orchestras: most recently with Henryk Blazej (flute) in the Double Concerto in D-minor by Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy, with the Zagreb Soloists,  Lviv, Kosice, Kiev and Brno Philharmonic orchestras;  the Chmielnicky Philharmonic Chamber Orchestra, Polish Radio NOSPR Chamber Orchestra, as well as with orchestras in Karlove Vary, Lublin, Jelenia Góra, Cracow, Madrid and Salamanca.  She has made many solo and chamber music broadcasts for the radio and television in Poland and abroad recording more than 60 hours, and has pioneered performance of unknown and rediscovered Polish and international music for Polish National Radio in Warsaw.  She has also given several live concerts and broadcasts for radio and television in Poland and elsewhere in Europe, and has recorded several CD’s for Dux and Inter-Art.
In the years 1991–1995 she was the artistic director of the International Music Festivals in Sandomierz, and from 1994. he is a co-author and artistic and organizational director (together with Henryk Błażej) of the annual International Found Music Festivals in Tarnów.
In 2016, she received the Honorary Award of the City of Tarnów for her entire artistic work and was awarded by the Minister of Culture and National Heritage with the badge "Meritorious for Polish Culture".
